Orange Reel was born from a need of centralised services, to do with creative media. Based around freelancers, the organisation has no regular staff to bump up prices, no daily overheads to bump up prices and no standard packages - so every client and every job is unique.
Orange Reel is based around freelancers - tasked per each client job that comes in, they manage every aspect of the job.
There are three main contractors that operate with are regular clients, and handle sub contractors:
Ky Teasdale:
With a background in business consultancy, Ky's specialty is in Marketing and web-design, though he has more recently taken an interest in the photography and videography side of things, over the past few years. Only an ad-hoc freelancer, Ky mainly handles the charity organisations and pro-bono work that Orange Reel pride themselves in.
Leon Pegg:
Leon is a strong coder, who does most of his work behind the scenes. His work can range from an outline of a simple site through to the indepth workings of a site. Examples of his work include mytubewaslate - which is a great demonstration of the depths his work can go to, Leon was responsible for writing the code which uses the information provided by a user, compares it against the data provided by Transport For London to ascertain if the user is entitled for a partial or full refund, and then files the paperwork with TFL.
